When something new and unfamiliar becomes familiar to you, you “get used to” it. This is usually a good thing. When it’s a bad thing, when something new and exciting becomes familiar and boring, we say you “get bored with” it instead.


新しくてあまり知らなかったことに慣れた時「get used to」を使います。通常、良いイメージで使います。新しくてわくわくすることに慣れてしまいつまらなくなった時は、「get bored with」(飽きる)と言います。
