On Halloween, we say “trick or treat”. This means that if we don’t get a treat, we will play a trick! One traditional trick is to TP someone’s house or car. “TP” stands for “toilet paper”! Mischievous children throw rolls of toilet paper over the house so that the paper unwinds and drapes across it.
ハロウィーンには「トリック・オア・トリート」と言いますが、これはお菓子（トリート）をくれないといたずら（トリック）をするという意味です。昔ながらのいたずらの一つは、家や車をTPすることです。「TP」は「トイレットペーパー」の略です！いたずら好きな子供がトイレットペーパーを家に投げて、トイレットペーパーが家の上から垂れさがった状態にします。
