Tinkering is building or rebuilding something, usually a machine. A professional tinkerer could be a repairman or an inventor or both. As the machines in our daily lives become more complicated, more and more tinkering is done with computer code instead of physical machines.

Tinkerとは何か（一般的に機械）をつくる、又はつくり直すことです。専門とする場合は修理工もしくは開発者になります。日常生活で使う機械が複雑になっていくにつれ、tinkerは機械そのものに手を加えるよりもコンピューターのコードを操作する事になっています。
