大きな仕事を取り除かないといけない大きな土の山に例えましょう。あまりにも大きくて、取り組んでいるとなかなか前進しているように見えません。でもしばらくすると、違いがわかります。山の一部が少し凹んでいます。大きな違いではありませんがこの凹み(dent)が確実に進んでいる証拠です。
A big job is like a mountain of dirt that you have to remove. When you’re working on it, it’s hard to see that you’re making any progress. But after a while, you can see a difference. There’s a dent in the side of the mountain. It’s not a huge change, but you can see that you’ve made progress.
