Hello, I’m Dan. I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. I have been teaching English to children for 20 years. I was a professional downhill skateboarder before becoming a teacher. I founded a skateboarding team in Canada. I have made videos and contributed to talented athletes. That video aired at National Geographic and the Banff Center. My combined passion as a teacher and as a skater led me to start an athletic sports camp business called The School of Riding. We teach children how to enjoy skateboarding safely. Designed and widely accepted helmet devices for children’s safety and enjoyment. Since coming to Japan as a family of four, we have been working to provide children with fun and meaningful English education programs.
