Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in the U.S. on the fourth Thursday of November. Traditionally, families gather to eat a feast including turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and other foods. Then they watch football. In elementary school, many children participate in plays depicting the Indians and Pilgrims sharing the first Thanksgiving. It is based on a true story, but the real history is more bloody.
アメリカでは11月の第4木曜日が感謝祭です。伝統的な祝い方は、家族みんなで七面鳥、クランベリーソースやマッシュポテトなどのご馳走を食べることです。その後はテレビでアメリカンフットボールを見ます。小学校では多くの子どもが「Indians and Pilgrims」の劇に参加し、インディアンとピルグリム（入植者）が最初の感謝祭を行う場面が表現されています。劇は実話に基づいていますが、本当の歴史はもっと血に染まったものです。
